15 years ago, I fell in love with a Colombian man and within 6 months we married, a year later I was pregnant. 2 months before giving birth I found out I was being lied to, and my husband was cheating on me with my best friend. Despite some really wonderful friends and family support, I spent much of my pregnancy alone and crying and uncertain of what future lay ahead.
Shortly after my closest friend sank into depression and killed himself. He was my rock and had saved me from my darkest times. When he died I struggled to come to terms with how cruel life was. Yet from the ruins, rather than be crushed I decided I needed to take control for mine and my baby’s sake and commit to being the creator rather than the victim of circumstances.
I knew it was time for change and I needed to take action.
Initially, I focused on my health and wellness. I didn’t know it yet, but as well as the changes to my body, the endorphins from being active were helping to stabilise my hormones and boost my mood.
In 2007, I went further and became a fully qualified and registered Hypnotherapist and Psychotherapist, left my corporate job, began work as a therapist and never looked back.
Over the years I’ve learnt to move past painful experiences with a deep faith that I will always be OK. I developed an inner confidence to live without regret or fear of uncertainty despite several health issues related to stress, the immune system and toxic breast implants (read more here).
Along the way, I've taken some brave decisions, especially deciding to live in Colombia as a single Mum with a young child for 7 years. It taught me the power to believe in myself, my dreams and take action. I had a magical experience with my daughter, met some amazing people and we both learnt to speak fluent Spanish!
When I returned to England I felt a massive calling to share my knowledge and experience with even more than those I could reach in 1:1 therapy, for women who needed support and guidance to reclaim their lives, rediscover their passion for life, gain peace of mind or who were stuck and needed help to unlock the key.
I am now a Mum of two, live by the sea and have clients from all over the world. I am passionate about creating rapid transformation for lasting change and empowering women to thrive and live better lives.
It’s safe to say I’m not afraid of a challenge or questioning conventional wisdom. What’s next? I’m always learning and growing and I’m super motivated and determined to keep living an extraordinary life and building a community of women to help them reach their full, amazing potential.
I lead by example and hope if you’re in a place you’ll reach out to me and I can share my knowledge and techniques to help you to thrive.
